JOB TITLE: Private Client Solicitor                   
PQE REQUIRED: 3+       
LOCATION: North Yorkshire                 
SALARY: Up to £55,000 (DOE)                     

THE ROLE:
Joining a well established private client department, you will manage your own varied caseload across wills, probate, powers of attorney, court of protection applications and trusts. The department has a strong and loyal client base across North Yorkshire, with the opportunity to advise a broad range of clients. Experience of working with high net worth individuals, estate planning and farming clients would be particularly useful. There is also the opportunity to develop a mixed contentious and non-contentious caseload for candidates with the relevant experience and an interest in contentious probate. This is not essential to the role, but provides scope to broaden your practice if desired. Alongside your fee earning responsibilities, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the continued development of the department through client relationships and business development.

THE CANDIDATE:
The successful candidate will have at least 3 years' PQE and be confident managing their own caseload across a broad range of private client matters. STEP qualification would be advantageous. You will have strong client care and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships and deal sensitively with clients. You should be self motivated, IT literate and comfortable working both independently and as part of a wider team.
The role would suit a Private Client Solicitor looking for a varied position with the opportunity to develop their technical expertise, client base and business development skills.
