Job Description
•Responsibilities include providing comprehensive administrative support to Private Client fee earners, including audio and copy typing legal documents, preparing Wills, LPAs, Probate applications, estate accounts and inheritance tax forms, managing diaries, and assisting with billing and file management.
•The appointed legal professional will liaise with clients, beneficiaries, financial institutions and third parties, while handling enquiries, onboarding new clients, conducting AML checks, supporting probate and estate administration, and maintaining accurate, compliant filing systems and correspondence.
•The ideal candidate will have previous experience as a Legal Secretary within a Private Client environment, with strong organisational, communication, and fast, accurate typing skills.
•Experience in preparing estate accounts, drafting Wills, LPAs and Codicils, probate administration, and handling Inheritance Tax (IHT) forms and procedures would be advantageous.
