Private Client Solicitor (2–3 PQE)
Location: West Midlands
Salary: £40,000 – £50,000 per annum
Full-Time | Office-Based

The Opportunity
An established and highly regarded West Midlands practice is seeking a Private Client Solicitor (2–3 years PQE) to join its busy and expanding team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor who can hit the ground running and manage a varied caseload with minimal supervision. The firm has a substantial and longstanding client base, including a significant will bank, and demand for private client services consistently exceeds capacity.

With exciting growth plans and potential expansion into additional offices from April, this role offers genuine long-term progression prospects.

The Role
You will manage a broad private client caseload including:
• Wills and estate planning
• Trusts
• Probate and estate administration
• Court of Protection matters

The department is currently extremely busy, with appointments being delayed due to high demand. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the continued growth of the team and maintaining high service standards.

The Team
• Two Private Client Solicitors currently in post
• Head of Probate (and firm owner) with decades of experience
• Strong reputation within the local community
• Established will bank generating ongoing repeat work

The firm benefits from consistent instructions and undertakes very little marketing due to its existing workload and reputation.

About You
• 2–3 years’ PQE in Private Client
• Confident managing your own caseload
• Able to work independently and efficiently
• Strong client care skills
• Commercial awareness and an interest in contributing to departmental growth

This role would suit someone ambitious who is looking for clear progression opportunities within a growing and stable firm.

Working Arrangements
• Office-based role (no hybrid working)
• West Midlands office with strong community presence and regular walk-in clients
