OVERVIEW:
• Manage a varied criminal defence caseload, providing advice and representation throughout the criminal justice process.
• Prepare cases, advise clients, attend court hearings and undertake advocacy.
• Opportunity to gain exposure to a broad range of criminal defence matters.
• Applications are welcomed from Criminal Defence Solicitors with 3+ years’ PQE and experience managing their own caseload.
• Strong knowledge of criminal law and procedure with the confidence to prepare cases and represent clients in court.
• Excellent advocacy, communication and organisational skills, with the ability to work calmly under pressure.
• A proactive and resilient approach, with a strong commitment to client care and high quality representation.
