JOB TITLE: Criminal Defence Solicitor                 
PQE REQUIRED: 3+

SALARY: Up to £65,000 (DOE)                    

THE ROLE:
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Criminal Defence Solicitor to join a specialist criminal defence team in Manchester. You will be responsible for managing a varied caseload and providing high quality advice and representation to clients at all stages of the criminal justice process. Your work will include preparing cases, advising clients, attending court hearings and undertaking advocacy, with the opportunity to gain exposure to a broad range of criminal defence matters. The role offers genuine responsibility and the chance to develop your career within a focused and experienced team.

THE CANDIDATE:
Applications are sought from Criminal Defence Solicitors with at least 3 years' PQE and experience managing their own caseload. You will have a strong understanding of criminal law and procedure and be confident dealing with clients, preparing cases and representing them in court. Excellent advocacy, organisation and communication skills are essential, together with the ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure. The successful candidate will be proactive, resilient and committed to delivering high standards of client care and representation.
