OVERVIEW:
• Excellent opportunity for an experienced Family Solicitor to join a respected and growing law firm offering quality private family work and genuine long term career progression.
• Manage a varied caseload of privately funded family law matters with a high degree of autonomy.
• Advise clients on divorce, financial remedy, private children matters, cohabitation disputes and nuptial agreements.
• Handle matters from initial instruction through to resolution including negotiations and court proceedings.
• Prepare detailed legal documentation, correspondence and settlement strategies.
• Represent clients at hearings, including Financial Dispute Resolution (FDR) hearings and final hearings.
• Liaise with counsel, experts and other professionals to achieve the best outcomes for clients.
• Support junior colleagues and contribute to the continued growth and success of the family department.
• Suitable for qualified Solicitors with a minimum of 5 years' PQE in private family law.
• Strong technical knowledge of financial remedy and private children work is essential.
• Excellent drafting, advocacy, communication and client care skills required.
• Commercially aware, organised and able to manage competing priorities within a busy practice.
• Calm, empathetic and committed to delivering practical, client focused advice.
