Private Client Solicitor / Legal Executive | 7–10+ years PQE | Monmouthshire | Up to £50,000 DOE

The Opportunity
A well established and genuinely friendly South Wales law firm is looking to recruit an experienced Private Client Solicitor or Legal Executive to join its Monmouthshire office.

This is an excellent role for a seasoned Private Client practitioner who enjoys high quality work, strong client relationships, and a traditional yet progressive firm culture. The firm has a substantial will bank and a steady, high quality flow of instructions.

The Role
You will take on a full and varied Private Client caseload, working autonomously while being supported by a well run team and engaged partners. The work is interesting and often complex, with a strong rural and commercial element.

Typical matters will include:
• Wills and estate planning
• Probate and estate administration
• Trusts and tax planning
• Lasting Powers of Attorney
• Acting for farmers, landowners, and commercial clients
• High-value and longstanding client portfolios

There is no business development pressure, the firm benefits from a strong local reputation, loyal clients, and repeat instructions.

About You
• Qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive
• 7–10+ years’ PQE in Private Client work
• Comfortable managing a full caseload independently
• Strong client-handling skills and a personable, professional approach
• Experience with rural, farming, or commercial private clients would be highly advantageous
