TITLE: Corporate Solicitor
PQE: 4+
LOCATION: London
SALARY: £90-100,000 (DOE)

THE ROLE:
This firm is seeking an experienced solicitor to join its market-leading national Corporate team to provide technical support to this ambitious and expanding practice. The role will involve a broad range of corporate matters including M&A, private equity and venture capital, as well as corporate finance, fundraising, shareholder agreements, joint ventures, and general corporate advisory work, much of this work will have an international aspect. Under the supervision of a Partner and Principal Associates, you will take the lead in running corporate transactions, drafting key transaction documents, and collaborating closely with junior team members and other departments, and participating in business development activities to build your own network.

THE CANDIDATE:
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 4 years’ PQE gained from a leading law firm and have a strong background in transactional work and strong experience in M&A. You should have a keen interest in a broad range of corporate matters and a proactive approach to marketing and business development initiatives. Experience with investment rounds, VC funds, and VC-backed businesses, as well as familiarity with the Technology and Life Sciences sectors, would be highly desirable.
