This is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading, award winning regional law firm in its Business Team (Commercial, Corporate & Employment).

The Role
You will work with a broad range of clients including business owners, corporates and entrepreneurs on all aspects of company and corporate law, and will handle matters across a variety of sectors, including IT, tech and life sciences.

You will manage your own caseload of matters as well as working with and supporting more senior members of the team.

You will have business development responsibilities and work to establish new business relationships and leads.

The Candidate
You will:
o Have 2+ years’ PQE in corporate law ideally with a corporate law firm
o Have experience of the following transactions:
• complex mergers and acquisitions
• private equity transactions
• buying and selling companies and businesses
• management buyouts and founder exits
• shareholders’ agreements
• joint ventures
• investments from early stage to private equity
• group reorganisations
• corporate governance, and
• partnership agreements
o Be self-motivated and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment
o Have well-established client communication and business development skills
o Have excellent analytical, negotiation and communication skills
