JOB TITLE: Employment Solicitor
EXPERIENCE: 3+

SALARY: up to c£65,000 DOE

THE ROLE:
The successful Employment Solicitor will be responsible for a varied caseload of both contentious and non-contentious matters on behalf of respondents. The appointed Employment Solicitor will be expected to advise across the full remit of employment law matters. You will have the confidence and the ability to take appropriate daily decisions on cases to ensure their swift progression. You will assist clients on a range of mattes to include, drafting policies and contracts, employee relations, employment tribunals, disclosures, TUPE and other general employment queries. You will have the opportunity to play an active and key role in the future direction of the firm, and in the development and growth of the Employment team.

THE CANDIDATE:
Applications are welcomed from Solicitors who will have gained a minimum 3 years’ experience in handling their own mixed caseload of respondent matters. This role requires excellent prioritisation and meticulous attention to detail which will enable you to construct clear and effective arguments, yielding the best result for clients. Good knowledge of Employment Tribunal and appeals with the ability to advise on the prospects of success in ET claims is essential in order to be successful in this role.
