National legal recruitment business eNL, operating largely from its head office in Birmingham, has promoted two Directors. Rebecca Barry, will take on an equity shareholding and Rebecca Lawrence will be appointed to the Board as profit-share Director.
Mrs Barry, the 2012 Chair of Birmingham Young Professional of the Year, returned to eNL in 2005 having spent a number of years with a global recruiter. During the past ten years Mrs Barry has held a key role in managing overall business strategy, direction and growth for eNL.
eNL has achieved 36% annual growth and 20% increase on headcount in the last twelve months. “We are confident that this is not just a sign of a return to a vibrant legal market but also testament to our talented and loyal team of specialist Consultants. It is our aim to continue in the same vain and as a result we wish to attract new people that share our values of empowering, expert, encouraging and enthusiastic.” she said.
Rebecca Lawrence, who has over fourteen years recruitment experience, joined eNL in 2007 and now takes the role of profit-share Director and Board Member.
“There is significant trust and autonomy on offer that has empowered me in my role. It’s hard work but a lot of fun. We have a down-to-earth culture and I am excited to take the next step in my career with eNL”.
She commented, “We are able to offer a rare opportunity within the recruitment profession at an exciting period of growth. Transparent career progression, highly competitive remuneration, a flexible working structure and access to high quality client work are all key features of our strong intention to provide a fun, challenging and satisfying working environment”.
So does eNL’s strong evidence of success present a picture, that both the legal and recruitment industries are finally emerging from the long shadow of the recession? Let’s hope so.
