The appointed Technology Solicitor will play a key role in the growth and development of our client’s technology team. The successful Technology Solicitor will take the lead on major projects including IT outsourcing contracts, software licences and a full range of online/e-commerce advice. In addition, the appointed Technology Solicitor will work in line with our client’s business development initiatives and assist in the support of more junior members of the team. This senior position will offer the appointed Technology Solicitor the opportunity to take the next step up in their career and play a key role in the continued success of this department. The Technology Solicitor should good academic background and have gained at least six years of experience in technology law and have a detailed knowledge of a range of both IT and outsourcing contracts.  In addition, ideally the Technology Solicitor should have experience of on cloud deals and disruptive technology as well as experience of advising data centre work.  This is a senior position and, therefore, the appointed Technology Solicitor should have experience of supervising junior staff members, working on team initiatives and successfully undertaking business development.
