JOB TITLE: Senior Legal Counsel, Legal Counsel, Junior Legal Counsel

SALARY: £43K - £60K
Senior Legal Counsel
Up to £60,000 per annum + bonus (OTE 20%, Max 45%) and a range of attractive benefits including company car or allowance, family private medical insurance, and generous pension contributions
This role is for an experienced lawyer to support the Head of Legal by picking up the more complex legal work and acting as line manager to two junior lawyers and the Group Legal PA. The job requires a minimum of 8 years’ post qualification experience and the ability to draft and negotiate complex legal agreements.
The Senior Legal Counsel must be able to work independently, to supervise junior lawyers in their work, and to support the Legal Manager in developing better processes and improve service delivery and business partnering.

This Legal Counsel role is for a Solicitor with a medium level of experience (4-7 PQE). A Solicitor at this level is expected to work largely independently with little supervision save on the more complex transactions. The Legal Counsel (4-7 PQE) will be expected to deal with all types of legal work coming into the department and to support any paralegals / trainees / junior lawyers (0-3 PQE) in the team.
Junior Legal Counsel
Up to £43,000 per annum + bonus (OITE 10%, Max 20%)and a range of attractive benefits including private medical insurance, and generous pension contributions
This Legal Counsel role is for a Solicitor with 0-3 years’ experience. A Solicitor at this level is expected to work largely independently with their own caseload but subject to supervision. The Legal Counsel (0-3 PQE) will be expected to deal with all types of legal work coming into the department and to support more senior lawyers on complex transactions.
