THE ROLE:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Residential Conveyancer or Legal Executive to join the thriving residential property department within a reputable Cardiff practice. The purpose of this post is to support the firm's busy client base to ensure swift and efficient exchanges and completions on the whole conveyancing process. As the appointed Residential Property Conveyancer you will be undertaking a varied and challenging workload which all will include advising on conveyancing transactions from initial instruction through to completion. Your responsibilities will include advising on sales, purchases, plot sales, residential development and landlord and tenant related issues. In addition you will also be expected to supervise and mentor junior fee earners within the department as well as take on the day to day management responsibilities.

THE CANDIDATE:

Applications are welcomed from Solicitors, Licensed Conveyancers or Legal Executives with at least 5 years experience in dealing with residential property transactions including plot sales matters. You will have good technical skills and conveyancing experience preferably gained working with house builders or on behalf of plot purchasers. You must be capable of working under pressure, meeting deadlines and be prepared to work additional hours to get the job done. If you enjoy working as part of a team the firm can offer the opportunity of a busy job where you can further develop your skills. Ideal Residential Property Lawyers will have proven managerial or supervisory skills.
