JOB TITLE: Residential Property Conveyancer

A new opportunity has arisen for a Residential Property Conveyancer to join a busy team who are part of a leading law firm in the Berkshire area. This role will focus primarily on the residential conveyancing side of the business, handling cases from inception through completion. You will also be expected to have some knowledge or previous experience to effectively cover the new build plot sales side of the team during periods of holiday.
As a suitable candidate you will either be a licensed conveyancer or legal executive or have significant work based experience to demonstrate technical and academic competence as a non-qualified fee-earner. You must be able to work to tight timescales and be used to pressure, for example end of half year and year deadlines for developers. Experience of handling significant volumes of transactions is essential. You will also posses first class communication skills, both written and verbal, and excellent client handling and service skills. You must be willing to assist in building new business relationships and promote both the team’s services and the firm’s broader legal services to developers, agents and others.
