JOB TITLE: Public Law Solicitor
PQE REQUIRED: NQ-2 years
As a public law solicitor you will be joining one of the country’s leading teams in this field whose client base includes central and local governmental bodies, regulators, NHS bodies, private health and social care providers, charities and not for profit organisations. You can expect to be working predominantly on disciplinary matters within the education sector on behalf regulatory bodies although you can expect to be getting involved in a range of other matters. Your work will be a balance of managing your own caseload, and assisting senior associates on more complex cases.
We are looking to speak to aspiring public law solicitors anywhere within their first two years after qualification. Candidates must have some experience in either prosecution or defendant professional disciplinary work which might have been gained in a criminal or employment law context for example. The successful candidate must be an apt litigator, with a demonstrable skill for building strong working relationships with both clients and colleagues alike.
