JOB TITLE: Property Assistant/Legal Secretary
LOCATION: Stroud, Gloucestershire
You can expect to deal with clients, solicitors, Land Registry, estate agents, lenders, financial advisers and keeping relevant parties fully informed at all times. Client contact by telephone and correspondence on current matters also form a major part of your daily duties. You can also expect to be involved in setting up appointments, file opening and closing, and ensuring that all work is accurate and completed to specified deadlines. You will have responsibility for maintaining records and databases within the department and providing general support to fee earners within the department.
We are looking for a candidate with the following qualifications and qualities:
Good audio typing skills, Ability to work in a small team, Confident communication skills, polite and well spoken, Well organised and methodical, Being able to work under pressure, Adaptability, Initiative, Flexibility and Proactive.
You will be Customer/client focused with a good understanding of the importance of client care and maintaining good working relationships with business contacts.
Preference will be given to those applicants with property experience. Although this is desirable it is not essential.
