PQE REQUIRED: 3 years+
LOCATION: Herefordshire (Commutable from Hereford, Worcestershire, Gloucestershire, Monmouthshire)
An exceptional opportunity has arisen for an experienced Private Client Solicitor to join a friendly but ambitious regional law firm. The Private Client Solicitor will join a team of experts who advise on a varied and vast range of matters, including, will drafting, tax planning, administration of estate, contested wills and advice for the elderly. The supportive environment that has developed within this department means that this opportunity offers the appointed Private Client Solicitor the possibility of real career development and to gain experience working on an interesting caseload.
The ideal Private Client Solicitor will have had proven experience working in a private client department at a similar firm. They will have detailed knowledge of all areas of private client including wills, trusts and elderly client work. They should be technically skilled and able to draft complex wills and work on complicated tax planning issues. Due to the nature of the work included, it is highly important that the Private Client Solicitor is personable and has strong communication skills, as the role will include a significant amount of client contact. As a result of the increased instructions that the department has recently received, the ideal Private Client Solicitor should be used to handling a heavy workload and should be confident in their ability to cope well with stress and work well under pressure.
