JOB TITLE: Planning Solicitor
PQE REQUIRED: 2 years+ PQE
Our client is looking to appoint an additional Planning Solicitor to add to their busy team. The appointed Planning Solicitor will work as part of our client’s commercial property department carrying out a range of planning services, in addition to advising on matter relating to highways and drainage. Our client’s planning department currently act on behalf of a range of clients including house builders, developers and private clients. The successful Planning Solicitor will assist other members of the team as well as acting independently on cases covering a range of matters including dealing with the negotiation of agreements, advising on planning applications, advising on community infrastructure levy and providing advice to both the litigation and corporate departments.
Our client is keen to received applications from Planning Solicitor with varying levels of experience. The Planning Solicitor should have a solid understanding of the processes and procedure involved in planning law and be comfortable that they can handle matters under little supervision. Then appointed Planning Solicitor will be able to demonstrate excellent marketing skills and a commitment to getting involved in business development in order to contribute to the strategic growth plans of both the department and the firm as a whole.
