JOB TITLE: Planning Solicitor

OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE:
Our client is offering an excellent opportunity for a junior Planning Solicitor to join this core team and provide primarily planning advice to a broad range of clients including, but not limited to, national housebuilders, registered providers, local authorities and private clients. In addition, there will be an environmental factor to the role and the successful Planning Solicitor will supply non-contentious advice in relation to real estate transactions. This is an excellent chance for a junior Planning Solicitor to really kick-start their career acting on an outstanding quality of work at a Legal 500 rated firm.
THE PLANNING SOLICITOR:
Our client is happy to consider applications from NQ Solicitors and junior Solicitors with up to four years of post qualification experience. If the applicant is an NQ, they must have completed at least one seat within planning during their training contract. Our client is keen to hear from Planning Solicitors with great academics and experience at either a large regional firm or a London firm with a dedicated planning practice. Some experience working on non-contentious environmental cases would be an advantage as would any knowledge of minerals planning. It is essential that the successful Planning Solicitor can demonstrate an excellent commercial acumen and is a team player with the ability to think strategically.
