JOB TITLE: Planning Solicitor

A new opportunity has arisen for an ambitious Planning Solicitor to become part of a busy team, working closely with real estate and residential development teams. This is a rare opportunity that would suit a City lawyer looking for a better work life balance or a talented regional planning solicitor who wishes to join a highly regarded practice to progress their career. You will be handling a broad range of planning matters, undertaking a varied and high quality caseload including s106 agreements, compulsory purchase advice, strategic advice on planning applications, planning appeals, promotion agreements, CIL advice, judicial reviews and high court challenges, highways agreements, CLEUD and CLOPUD applications, advice on permitted development prior approval applications, planning aspects of due diligence.
The successful Planning Solicitor will have gained excellent training and have between 1-3 years PQE working for a City or leading regional practice and has a high level of understanding and exposure to a broad range of planning matters. You will be a highly ambitious individual with a commitment to building and progressing your career within planning law and have the desire to create lasting client relationships and be involved in business development and the firms marketing strategies. An eye for details and meticulous approach to your work is essential.
