JOB TITLE: Personal Injury Solicitor
PQE REQUIRED: 4 years+ PQE
The successful Personal Injury Solicitor will defend a caseload of litigated fast and multi track EL and PL claims. The department act on behalf of impressive client list, with a strong links to the NHS and other local authorities. The Personal Injury Solicitor will also be expected to support and assist in the development of more junior team members as well as undertaking business development activities in accordance with growth strategy of the firm.
The successful Personal Injury Solicitor should have a good technical understanding across a range of areas including negligence, EL/PL, vicarious liability, disease and personal injury. In addition, it is expected that the appointed Personal Injury Solicitor should have a good working knowledge of the civil procedure rules and have experience of working within litigation. Experience of working with NHS Resolution would be a benefit however this is not an essential requirement. It is impetrative that the appointed Personal Injury Solicitor is a team player, is committed to assisting with the development of this personal injury department and, due to the nature of the work involved, able to demonstrate a personal and empathetic nature.
