JOB TITLE:                   Personal Injury Lawyer

PQE REQUIRED:         NQ-5 years

LOCATION:                  York

SALARY:                      Competitive

THE ROLE:

As a personal injury lawyer you will be managing your own busy caseload consisting of defendant industrial disease claims on behalf of major insurer clients. The majority of your workload will consist of noise induced hearing loss and asbestos claims files. It is expected that you will also play an active role in the personal injury and industrial disease teams’ business development activities so as to contribute to their ongoing growth and success.

 

THE CANDIDATE:

This role would suit personal injury solicitors with up to five years PQE although paralegals with experience in handling a caseload of industrial disease files are also encouraged to apply. Experience in defendant industrial disease files is desirable but not essential as we will consider candidates with a strong grounding in claimant industrial disease claims. Candidates must be self-starters and have a strong technical skillset. A demonstrable flair for commercial acumen and business development is a must for all candidates.
