JOB TITLE: Paralegal-Trusts and Estates Administration
EXPERIENCED: 6 months
The role will involve managing a caseload of files, to include:-
Communicating on the telephone and corresponding with clients, beneficiaries, asset holders, HM Revenue & Customs, HMCTS and other third parties, Drafting legal documents, Preparing tax calculations and HMRC returns. Preparing accounts Undertaking legal research, as required.
You will be Working to strict deadlines and service level agreements using a case management system, Working proactively to conclude cases in a timely and sensitive manner and Working with Solicitors and Associates to develop and maintain effective client relationships.
You will be Managing own case load as well as supporting other fee earners and Advising on the law relating to wills, trusts, estates and tax
Experience of non-contentious probate work, in particular, estates administration, is advantageous.
The role will involve communication with clients via the telephone, therefore inter-personal and listening skills are essential.
The individual will also have sound organisational, written and time management skills as well as a good eye for detail.
The ideal candidate will be an LPC graduate who has undertaken the private client elective, or holds similar academic achievement.
