JOB TITLE: Paralegal- Residential Property
EXPERIENCED: 6 months
LOCATION: Exeter, Devon
The Residential Property team works closely with the Housing & Regeneration, Commercial Property and Private Client teams to provide a cohesive service to clients. For this new role our client are seeking to appoint a Paralegal, to assist with a caseload of residential property matters.
You will be Assisting with a caseload of residential property matters for private clients including: house and flat, sales and purchases, freehold and leasehold properties, registered and unregistered properties, mortgages and equity release, buy-to-let properties, help to buy, right to buy, enfranchisement and lease extensions, lettings, planning, shared ownership leases, new plot purchases and SDLT; Carrying out searches and reviewing titles and documents; Drafting of basic property documents; Post completion reporting, scheduling and Checking of schedules and management of documents. You will also Build and maintain effective client relationships.
You will have Proven ability to take on responsibility and manage files independently, strong client focus, Ability to prioritise work effectively and meet deadlines, good communication skills and extensive IT abilities.
Paralegal with experience in residential conveyancing is preferred and Previous experience in dealing directly with clients.
