JOB TITLE:                 Litigation Solicitor

PQE REQUIRED:        4+

LOCATION:                 Durham (commutable from Darlington, Durham, Hartlepool, Middlesbrough, Newcastle and Sunderland)

SALARY:                    Competitive, commensurate on experience


As a litigation solicitor you will be building and running your own general litigation caseload. Your work might include commercial litigation including commercial property litigation, alongside civil litigation work such as contentious probate, TOLATA claims and residential possession issues. As you will be starting the department and your caseload from scratch you will need to be undertaking plenty of business development work.



We are looking for a strong, well rounded litigation solicitor. The successful candidate will be motivated and ambitious with the ability to develop and run a department autonomously. Impeccable communication and negotiation skills are a must as is a demonstrable sense of commercial acumen. An existing network of contacts and a client following in the North East would also be a distinct advantage.
