Part Time Legal Cashier – Nottingham – Our client a Legal 500 firm based in Nottingham have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Legal Cashier or extremely experienced Accounts Assistant to join their friendly team on a permanent basis. Call Louise Evans on 0121 454 1004.

JOB TITLE:                  Legal Cashier – Part Time                           

PQE REQUIRED:         2+

LOCATION:                 Nottingham (Commutable from: West Bridgford, Bingham and Long Clawson)

SALARY:                     £18,000.00 - £22,000.00 pro rata

THE ROLE:

Our client a Legal 500 firm based in Nottingham have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Legal Cashier or an extremely experienced Accounts Assistant to join their friendly team.  The successful Legal Cashier will be working part time at 21 hours per week and will be responsible for the following; Client funds being handled in accordance with SRA regulations, preparing files and spreadsheets for annual audit and SRA inspections, running ad-hoc reports as required, recording transactions on account and nominal ledger banking, some payroll and VAT responsibilities where required.

 

THE LEGAL CASHIER:

The successful Legal Cashier should have a minimum of two years experience in a legal accounts background or 5+ years experience as an accounts assistant.  Legal Cashiers should have full working knowledge and understanding of the SRA rules and regulations in order to carry out their role to the expected level.  You will have good numeric academic history and be outgoing and able to work well within a team.
