JOB TITLE:         Interventions Manager

LOCATION:      London

SALARY:            £35,000



Our client are  looking to recruit an Interventions Manager to work in the Intervention team of their Commercial Litigation department. The basis of the role is to manage the Interventions team which is made up of paralegals. The number depends on whether there is an intervention taking place so there could be one paralegal or 20 at any given time. The main role for the paralegals is to review the files and matters that come from the firm we are carrying out an intervention on and these can be any area of law i.e. immigration, property, employment so the Interventions Manager will require a varied background to enable them to quickly review a file and advise the paralegal of what stage that file is at. Another key factor of the role is to produce invoices and monthly reports so excellent excel skills are essential. This role goes through times where it is extremely busy and periods where it is much quieter so the right candidate will be adaptable and happy to work at either pace.



The appointed candidate will hold a strong academic background with 2:1 at degree level (or equivalent), you will have a basic understanding of client / office account ledgers. With  a understanding of conveyancing, litigation and legal aid files and systems. You will have the ability to run your own caseload,  manage and prioritise a heavy workload and have excellent organisational skills and experienced at team management. You will be able to hit the ground running with management responsibilities and understand the need for tight deadlines' to be met. You must be IT literate to include Word, Outlook and Internet applications but with particularly strong Excel and numeracy skills.
