An exciting opportunity has arisen to join one of the most respected regulators in the UK on an interim basis.  You will be working closely with the organisation’s policy team, advising the senior management team, the legal team, the Head of Governance and Board members on Corporate Governance matters.  This vital role will see the appointed Interim Regulatory Policy Lawyer keep fully up to date with new draft legislation and policy matters, liaising with external stake holders and governing bodies where required. This role is available for an immediate start for a period of at least 3-4 months.



The appointed Interim Regulatory Policy Lawyer will be a qualified Solicitor or Barrister who holds a current certificate to practise in England and Wales.  You will have a strong background in policy and governance, with a proven ability communicate complex frameworks to non-legal members of the team.  Prior experience of working within a public sector body either as a permanent member of staff or on an interim basis will be a distinct advantage.
