This is an opportunity for an Interim in-house Commercial Counsel to join an in-house team with a national brand within their market as a Commercial Counsel.  Responsibilities will include providing legal advice in respect of a broad range of general commercial, IT, IP and data protection issues.  You will be drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts and reviewing and revising standard agreements.  The successful Interim in-house Commercial Counsel will also be responsible for providing commercial legal advice, work closely with colleagues throughout the business, provide advice to operational teams and more.


Interim in-house Commercial Counsel:

The Interim in-house Commercial Counsel should have a minimum of 6+ PQE and be able to hit the ground running and start asap.  Previous in-house experience with a retailer is desirable but is not a pre-requisite.  The successful Commercial Counsel will be ambitious, have the ability to strive, deliver and identify a commercial approach to achieving tasks and objectives for the business.  You will be organised, decisive and can provide a personal and solid approach when dealing with key management and other colleauges within the business.  You will also be available to start at extremely short notice.
