Interim Financial Services Lawyer, Yorkshire – 5+ PQE – Six month contract available in a broad Financial Services role within a widely recognised business

Joining this thriving Financial Services business, the successful interim Lawyer will be supporting the existing well integrated team with ‘business as usual’ matters during a particularly busy period. Work will include general commercial contracts within a financial services context, wider regulatory matters and consumer credit issues, in addition to any other miscellaneous legal matters that arise. This role will see the post holder engaging with stakeholders throughout the business, commanding the confidence of colleagues at all levels within the organisation. This role is being offered as an initial 6month contract, with the potential for extension or to become permanent for the right candidate. The role is available to commence immediately.



A qualified Solicitor with a minimum of 5 years PQE, it is envisaged that you will have gained the majority of your experience to date in a financial services environment, or potentially in a law firm specialising in financial services matters on behalf of their clients. As well as being a UK qualified Lawyer, the right person must have financial regulatory experience with some focus on consumer credit. You will be an approachable and pragmatic individual and will enjoy working as part of a wider team. You will possess a broad commercial and financial services skill set and will have specific expertise in FCA matters. Experience of advising on consumer credit issues is essential along with a proven track record of effectively balancing business risk.
