JOB TITLE: Information Technology Solicitor
PQE REQUIRED: 3 years+ PQE
The appointed Information Technology Solicitor will join this highly ranked team and will assist in advising on a wide range of non-contentious issues in relation to technology and privacy practice including IT agreements, e-commerce issues, data protection, distribution agreements and competition law. The ideal Information Technology Solicitor will be academically strong and have been educated at a well regarded university. The Solicitor should have trained and qualified at a leading national practice or alternatively, at a specialist IT/IP practice. Our client will also consider applications from in house applicants with some experience of working at an IT/IP firm. Whilst support will always be provided, the Solicitor should be confident that they are able to work independently and have some experience of supervising junior members of the team. In addition, it is important that the Solicitor can gain a good understanding of difficult legal issues quickly and have excellent commercial acumen.
