JOB TITLE:                  Immigration Caseworker 

PQE REQUIRED:         3 years+ experience

LOCATION:                  Wolverhampton  

SALARY:                     Dependant on experience

 

THE ROLE:

Our client has recently been awarded a Legal Aid Contract and is looking to recruit an experience Immigration Caseworker. On appointment, the successful Immigration Caseworker will take on a caseload of 100 files progressing them from initial instruction through to conclusion. The Immigration Caseworker will provide straight forward advice in relation to immigration rules and law and will work closely with barristers and assist in representing clients before the Immigration Tribunal and Judicial Review.

 

THE CANDIDATE:

Due to the requirements of the Legal Aid contract, the Immigration Caseworker will have achieved Level 2 Supervisor status in accordance with the Immigration and Asylum Accreditation Scheme. The ideal Immigration Caseworker will have at least three years if experience in providing advice covering a full range if immigration matters and will be used to handling their own heavy and varied caseload.

 

THE FIRM:

Our client is newly established, high street law firm based in Wolverhampton. Ran by an expert with over ten years of experience advising on a range of civil litigation and family matters.  This role will offer the appointed Immigration Solicitor the chance to work in a close knit firm which has plans to grow rapidly over the coming years.
