JOB TITLE: Head of Legal & Compliance
PQE REQUIRED: 6+ years
SALARY: c £60,000-£72,000
Taking the reins of the in-house legal team you will provide guidance to all members of the legal team, working with the Board of Governors, Executive Team and senior management. Your primary responsibilities will include identifying legal risk, fulfilling the duties of the Data Protection Officer and manage a caseload of varied legal matters. This role is initially offered as a 6 month contract, however, it could be subject for extension for the right candidate.
To be considered for the role you will be a qualified Solicitor with a condition-free practicing certificate. Prior experience of holding a compliance / risk focussed role is essential, as is a proven knowledge of GDPR legislation. Solicitors who have previously worked in a public sector organisation will be at an advantage.
