JOB TITLE:                    Family Solicitor

PQE REQUIRED:         10+ years

LOCATION:                   Chorley

SALARY:                       Competitive

THE ROLE:

As a Family Solicitor you will be managing your own varied and busy caseload, covering the full spectrum of family law matters. You can expect to be working on predominantly legal aid funded cases including the Non Molestation Act, domestic violence, financial remedies, childcare and the Childrens Act amongst a range of other issues. Where relevant you will also be conducting your own advocacy. It is expected that in all your work you will strive to maintain and develop the firm's strong reputation in the local community.

 

THE CANDIDATE:

We are looking for experienced Family Solicitors with at least 10 years PQE. Membership of the Law Society Family or Child Panel is also essential. Candidates should be experienced in managing their own busy caseload of family work with minimal partner supervision. We expect candidates to demonstrate impeccable communication and negotiation skills with the interpersonal and empathetic abilities the nature of this work calls for. Candidates must be strong team players and be willing and able to support junior colleagues when necessary.
