JOB TITLE:             Family Lawyer     

PQE REQUIRED:   3+ years     

LOCATION:             Liverpool    

SALARY:                 Competitive, commensurate on experience    

THE ROLE:

As a family lawyer you will be joining a leading family law department and will be given full autonomy over you own busy and dynamic caseload. Your caseload will consist predominantly of legal aid funded child care work although you can expect to be getting involved in some legal aid funded, adult domestic abuse work as well. You will be expected to play an active role in business development so as to contribute to the family department’s ongoing success and growth.

 

THE CANDIDATE:

Candidates must be qualified solicitors or legal executives with at least three years PQE and membership of the law society Children’s Panel. Candidates must be confident in handling their own workload of challenging cases with minimal supervision from partners. We expect candidates to be apt at communicating effectively with clients from a range of backgrounds and have the compassionate and sympathetic abilities that the nature of this work calls for.
