JOB TITLE:                  Employment Solicitor 

PQE REQUIRED:         3+ PQE

LOCATION:                   Manchester

SALARY:                       Highly Competitive 

 

THE ROLE:

As an employment solicitor you will be joining a leading employment team who undertake the full spectrum of contentious and non-contentious employment work. You will have full autonomy over your own employment law caseload with a client base that consists predominantly of education sector clients. You will also be expected to build and maintain your own network of contacts and use this to contribute to the employment team's business development work.

 

THE CANDIDATE:

We are looking for bright and ambitious employment solicitors with at least 3years PQE and strong experience in employment and tribunal work. Knowledge of the education sector is desirable but not essential given candidates can demonstrate a genuine interest in this sector. Strong negotiation and commercial skills are an absolute must, as is a proven aptitude for building strong working relationships with both clients and colleagues. Career progression is very much on offer with this role as there is plenty of head room for more senior members to progress. You will enjoy close client contact and will be encouraged to develop your own client base and become their solicitor of choice.
