JOB TITLE:                  Employment Solicitor

PQE REQUIRED:         1-4 years

LOCATION:                  London

SALARY:                      £60 – 70,000 Basic salary + Benefits


This leading practice is looking to appoint an additional Associate to their established employment team. You will work closely with all members of the employment team in the provision of employment advice to the firm's corporate and senior executive clients. You will handle a mixed bag of contentious and non-contentious employment matters, including but not limited to performance management, preparation and review of contracts of employment and staff handbooks, disciplinary/grievance procedures, restrictive covenants, confidentiality  and team moves, TUPE, unfair dismissal, discrimination, whistleblowing and much more. You will be expected to participate in the marketing and business development of the firm's practice, and in particular the employment team, including writing articles and blogs, contributing towards seminars and meeting with prospective and current clients and referrers.



The successful Employment Solicitor will have between 1 and 4 years’ PQE and will be able to demonstrate the equivalent level of skills and desired competencies within a similar law practice. You must have excellent academics and have acted for both employers and senior executives in employment law matters. You should be able to demonstrate a track record of marketing and business development, building relationships with clients, proactively seeking out opportunities and securing them.
