JOB TITLE: Employment Solicitor
PQE REQUIRED: 1+
SALARY: Competitive, commensurate on experience
As an employment solicitor you will be joining a leading employment team who work on behalf of both claimants and respondents and also undertake a range of non-contentious employment work. You can expect to be working on behalf of clients from a range of sectors including manufacturing, retail, logistics and public sector healthcare bodies to name but a few. You will also be expected to build and maintain your own network of contacts and use this to contribute to the employment team’s business development work.
We are looking for bright and ambitious employment solicitors with at least one years PQE and substantial experience in employment law work. The successful candidate will have excellent technical and academic abilities with the intuition to manage a busy caseload with minimal partner supervision. Strong negotiation and commercial skills are an absolute must as is a proven aptitude for building strong working relationships with both clients and colleagues.
