JOB TITLE: Employment Solicitor
PQE REQUIRED: NQ-4 years
LOCATION: Greater Manchester (commutable from Altrincham, Macclesfield, Manchester, Northwich, Stockport and Warrington)
SALARY: Competitive, commensurate on experience
As an employment solicitor you will be reporting directly to the firm’s head of employment and will be working on the full spectrum of employment law matters. Contentions work will involve disciplinaries, grievances, discrimination, anti-bribery and corruption. On the non-contentious side of things you can expect to be working on TUPE, employment contracts and the employment aspects of corporate reorganisations. You will be actively contributing to the employment team’s business development work for instance through attending external networking events and socials.
We are looking for talented and ambitious employment solicitors anywhere within their first four years after qualification with strong experience in employment law. Candidates must be hard working with the ability to manage their own busy workload with minimal supervision. We expect candidates to have a demonstrable sense of commercial acumen and to be proficient at business development.
