Our client is a niche employment practice who have their roots based in the East Midlands. They are now looking to expand their offerings by opening a  new office in Birmingham city centre. The firm offer advise on a whole range of employment matters, acting mainly for employers ranging from small owner managed businesses to national household names. In addition, the firm also acts for a number of senior employees. The appointed Employment Solicitor will take on some existing caseload, but will also have the opportunity to get out into the local market, network and win new work for the company. It is an exciting opportunity for the successful Employment Solicitor to contribute to the success of the Birmingham office, in line with their existing practice which really has made leaps and bounds.



The ideal Employment Solicitor will have at least five years of experience of advising on employment law matters and specifically will have proven experience of acting on behalf of employers. The successful Employment Solicitor will have a vast knowledge in this area and will be confident in their ability to handle their own caseload. The Employment Solicitor should have good academics and ideally should have gained their experience working at a reputable firm in a strong, highly regarded employment department.
