JOB TITLE:                              Employment Paralegal

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:      1+ year    

LOCATION:                              Greater Manchester (commutable from Bolton, Macclesfield, Manchester, Northwich, Sale and Warrington)

SALARY:                                Competitive, commensurate upon experience 

 

THE ROLE:

As the appointed employment paralegal you will be working on a caseload consisting predominantly of contentious and non-contentious employment matters. The firm has an excellent reputation in the market for their employment team and deals with all areas of this discipline including infair dismissal, employment tribunal services, discrimination claims and HR policies and proceedures. You will be acting as the first point of contact for clients and will be responsible for taking initial instructions, drafting correspondence, handling a wide range of enquiries and generally assisting the fee earners in the Employment team as required.

 

THE CANDIDATE:

Our client is looking for talented employment paralegals with previous experience in employment work. Candidates must be hard working, flexible and adaptive with the ability to manage their own workload with minimal supervision. Candidates must be apt communicators and enjoy a hands on approach.  The successful candidate will work well as a member of a team and have a genuine desire to contribute to the  department's ongoing success.
