JOB TITLE: Employment Lawyer
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: 2+ years
SALARY: Competitive, commensurate on experience and qualifications
As an employment lawyer you will be joining a dynamic employment department and will be taking on a workload that covers the full spectrum of contentious employment law matters. You can expect to be undertaking plenty of litigation work, acting on behalf of claimants in tribunal claims involving disciplinary hearings and grievances. You will also be expected to play an active role in the employment team’s business development work.
We are looking to speak to employment lawyers with at least two years experience in litigated employment tribunal work. Candidates must be either qualified as a solicitor or legal executive or be a paralegal with strong experience in handling their own caseload of employment claims. Candidates should have good time management and organisational skills and be comfortable managing a busy caseload with minimal supervision. Impeccable written and oral communication skills are a must as are demonstrably strong negotiation skills and a clear sense of commercial awareness.
