JOB TITLE:                   Data Protection Lawyer

You will have a broad and varied caseload operating with clients nationally and you will be given both support and autonomy to build a sustainable and successful practice.  You will mentor the junior lawyers ensuring the team have the capability to deliver on targets. The role will see you advising on large scale, global privacy projects including data protection compliance audits, HR/IT system roll-outs, group data processing arrangements and international data transfers.  You will also play a central part in delivering highly effective business development initiatives.



This will be a challenging and demanding role, working to tight deadlines and supporting highly valued clients. In order to be successful you will demonstrate a minimum of 4 years post qualified experience in data protection gained within a leading commercial law firm.  A passion for data protection is essential, with the exceptional pace of technological change, you will be driven to stay ahead of data protection developments and be at the forefront in understanding the impact of developing mediums.
