JOB TITLE:                  Criminal Duty Solicitor   

PQE REQUIRED:         1 year+ PQE

LOCATION:                  Dorset (Commutable4 of: Bournemouth, Poole, Ringwood, Wimbourne Mister, Lymington)

SALARY:                     Dependant on experience

 

THE ROLE:

Our client is a friendly and close knit high street firm based in coastal Dorset. Their criminal law practice is one of their strongest assets and due to its thriving nature, they are seeking to add a talented Criminal Duty Solicitor to their team. The appointed Criminal Duty Solicitor will take on their own caseload from the outset which will include a full variety of cases ranging from the less serous offences to the most severe crimes.

 

THE CANDIDATE:

The ideal Criminal Duty Solicitor will have at least one year of experience gained working within criminal law and will have experience of representing clients at the police station, magistrates and crown court on a range of matters varying from less serious offences such as road traffic offences up to the most serious crimes of sex offences and murder. The appointed Solicitor must be duty qualified and higher rights would be a district advantage. The successful Criminal Duty Solicitor must be flexible and be prepared to attend the police station as and when required by their rota. Our client is flexible on experience and remuneration will be dependant on this.
