Corporate Solicitor, 1-3 PQE, London - Full service law firm ranked as a leader in both the Chambers & Partners and Legal 500 directories have a requirement for an experienced Corporate Solicitor, who will be able to accept responsibility at an early stage, manage their own smaller transactions whilst also supporting other team members on larger transactions and matters.

Multi sited, medium size national law firm with a commitment to the training and development of their employees at all levels. The overall objective of the role is to become an integral member of the Corporate Team, willing and able to accept responsibility at an early stage, lead and manage smaller transactions and matters under appropriate supervision and to support other team members on larger transactions and matters. The job involves a range of roles and levels of responsibility on sales and purchases, management buy outs and buy-ins, joint ventures, share and business and asset, bank lending, venture capital and private equity investments, partnership and LLP work.  Non-transactional work will also be part of the workload, whether shareholder agreement and articles, company secretarial advice and support, re-organisations and related advice, corporate governance or general corporate advisory work.  The team has a strong reputation in acting for early stage companies and the role will include regular involvement with such clients and prospects.



The successful solicitor will assist with the firm's corporate team in the South East but will also work within the wider firm and will provide corporate support across the firm, for example Tax, Banking, Employment, Commercial Property etc. You should be self-disciplined and able to manage your own matters (where appropriate under supervision), able to prioritise and manage projects and work with other advisory teams, such as Corporate Finance advisors and accountants etc. You will also be actively encouraged to take part in networking and other marketing activities.
