The corporate team is involved in a good mix of corporate work, primarily in the technology sector, weighted equally between M&A transactional work and venture capital fundraising and act both for investee companies and institutional investors.

This leading corporate team advises businesses of all sizes as well as management teams, shareholders, investors and lenders. Guiding clients through the transaction process from initial start up to growth and development transactions, whether by equity or debt funding, acquisition or joint venture, reorganisation or restructuring, disposal via sale, listing or buyout and help them to achieve their goals in a calm, clear and pragmatic way. The firms clients cover a broad spectrum of industry sectors but are predominantly in the technology, private wealth, life sciences, property, retail and fashion sectors. They also advise on all aspects of the governance and administration of companies, including directors' duties, board and shareholder issues, constitutional and share capital issues and company secretarial services.



As the hired Corporate Solicitor you will have trained with and / or is now working at either a City firm or a major regional practice. You should have strong academics and exposure to a broad range of corporate transactional work. Ideally you will also have some experience of or interest in venture capital work, including the drafting of investment agreements and 'VC style' articles of association. You will be part of a team that offers expert advice on all types of corporate work including corporate governance, reorganisations, joint ventures, cross-border transactions, venture capital fundraising and acting for companies and investors.
