JOB TITLE: Corporate Governance Lawyer
PQE REQUIRED: 4+ years

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join one of the most respected regulators in the UK, working closely with senior members of staff across the organisation to ensure the smooth running of the organisation. You will advise Directors, legal teams, the Head of Governance and Board members on Corporate Governance matters. This vital role will see the appointed Corporate Governance Lawyer keep fully up to date with changing corporate governance matters, liaising with external stake holders and governing bodies where required.
THE GOVERNANCE LAWYER:
The appointed Corporate Governance Lawyer will be a qualified Solicitor or Barrister who holds a current certificate to practise in England and Wales. You will have a strong background in governance; with a proven ability communicate complex frameworks to non-legal members of the team. Prior experience of advising a public sector body on governance matters, either as a permanent member of staff or on a consultancy basis, will be a distinct advantage.
