JOB TITLE:                    Contracts Solicitor

SALARY:                       £40,000 - £45,000



This Public Sector body based in London are currently recruiting for an Interim Contracts Solicitor to begin a fixed term contract with them for a period of circa six months and the potential to become permanent.  The successful Interim Contracts Solicitor will be responsible for negotiating, drafting and providing advice on a wide range of legal and transactional issues including a varied spectrum of agreements such as, supply and purchase agreements, licences, confidentiality agreements, research and other collaborations, memoranda of understanding, corporate documentation and consultancy agreements, regulatory issues and some IP.  The Interim Contracts Solicitor will also be responsible for updating and refreshing current policies and procedures in order to ensure that processes are as efficient as possible to enable the legal arm to work successfully.



The successful Interim Contracts Solicitor will have a minimum of 2 years PQE with proven experience assessing commercial risk and contracts.  You will have superior organisational skills, experience in creating and managing excellent administrative systems, outstanding time management skills and ability to work alone.  It is also extremely desirable that the successful Interim Contracts Solicitor should have knowledge and experience of IP law and of working within an academic environment. This role is due to commence as soon as possible.
