JOB TITLE: Contentious Probate Solicitor
PQE REQUIRED: 2-4/Cilex
This local, well respected law firm requires a Contentious Probate solicitor to join their team in Nottingham. The successful Probate Solicitor will take responsibility of a busy caseload, advising a broad range of private clients on matters including disputed wills, probate, trusts and estates. The appointed candidate will be working alongside the Managing Director in this department and joining a very supportive and friendly team. This role would be ideally suited to a down to earth friendly individual with excellent client facing skills and who works well in a small team.
You will be passionate about the area of wills and probate law, and focused on building a career in this sector. You will be hardworking, have great communication skills and be able to hit the ground running within this role. My client is keen on progressing the right candidate fairly quickly.
The successful Probate Litigation Solicitor must have experience of managing a private client case load involving a wide range of matters including contentious (70%) and non contentious (30%) work including wills, probate and intestacy, estate litigation, IPFDA claims, trusts, Powers of Attorney, court of protection and elderly client matters. My client has an existing contentious caseload and this is an area the firm is currently developing. The successful candidate will be self motivated have a good working knowledge and be looking for a supportive and friendly working environment where they can broaden their skills and experience within their private client department.
